Сградата ще се казва Център за високи постижения и ще подобри и оптимизира значително учебния процес в ПГКПИ С близо 3.2 млн. лв. без ДДС изграждат нова сграда към елитната Професионална гимназия по компютърно програмиране и иновации в Бургас. Обществената поръчка е публикувана официално на сайта на АОП на 5 октомври и е с краен срок за кандидатстване до 26 октомври, което означава, че съвсем скоро е възможно да има избран изпълнител за мащабния проект. Сградата ще се нарича Център за високи постижения и ще предостави на професионалната гимназия цял нов корпус, който ще подобри условията за обучение в училището.. Той ще осигури и интердисциплинарна, комплексна и готова за развитието на кадри образователна среда, с която ще се извъшрва по оптимален начин подготовката на кадри в сектора информационни технологии в Бургас. Новият корпус ще е триетажен. Крайният срок за изпълнение на проекта е 360 календарни дни, което означава, че на практика със стартиране на следващата учебна година сградата трябва да е готова. От създаването ѝ досега ПГКПИ, намираща се в бургаския жк „Меден рудник” и притежаваща свои собствени ученически общежития и кампус не спира да се развива. Интересът към нея става все по-голям, тъй като предлаганото в нея образование съответства почти изцяло с нуждите на пазара на труда към този момент от историята. Завършилите гимназията пък излизат като подготвени кадри, готови да стартират професионалната си кариера в сектора на информационните технологии, програмирането и дизайна.
