Бачийски е депутат от ПП-ДБ, беше кандидат за кмет на Бургас, като постигна едва около 9,09% подкрепа, въпреки агресивната кампания, която водеше.
„Позицията ми е вследствие на непоследователното отношение на Константин Бачийски, включително неизпълнението на решенията на Изпълнителния съвет на партията. Визирам подредена листа, гласувана от Изпълнителния съвет в Бургас. В последния момент, когато отива в Общинската избирателна комисия да я регистрира, се появяват двама човека, които не са от партията, а са негови приближени”, каза Георги Манев пред Бургасинфо.
Забраната за използване на логото и знаците на СЕК е за предизборната кампания.
„По принцип Бачийски нито ме е питал, нито ми е казвал, нито е взимано решение на Изпълнителния съвет кой да бъде кандидат в Плевен. Общо взето си управлява партията самосиндикално”, каза Манев.
В новия Общински съвет на Бургас Георги Манев ще е от групата на КОД Бургас. Той бе на 51-во място, но преподреди листата със силен преференциален вот и ще е един от тримата съветници на КОД.
