През юли 2023 г., туристическият сектор в България нараства със стабилни темпове, показва доклад на Националния статистически институт. В страната бяха налични общо 3 697 обекта за краткосрочно настаняване с 10 или повече легла, включително хотели, мотели, къмпинги и хижи. Тази цифра представлява нараснал ръст от 2.3% спрямо юли 2022 г., със съответно 149.5 хил. стаи и 339.3 хил. легла. Общият брой на нощувките през юли достигна 5 819.6 хил., което е увеличение с 8.1% в сравнение със същия месец на предходната година. Най-голямото увеличение от 14.7% беше забелязано в местата за настаняване с 1 и 2 звезди. Фиг. 1. С малко по-нисък статус от тях, местата за настаняване с 3 звезди също се радват на посещения, като реализират 18.2% от нощувките на чужденци и 25.0% от българите, докато в 1 и 2 звезди са съответно 8.7 и 36.4% от нощувките. Най-висока заетост се наблюдава в местата за настаняване с 4 и 5 звезди – 71.4%, следвани от тези с 3 звезди – 49.4%, и с 1 и 2 звезди – 36.0%. Фиг. 3. Тези данни свидетелстват за продължаващият растеж и привлекателността на туризма в България през лятото на 2023 г.
