Със заповед на изпълнителния директор на Българската агенция по безопасност на храните от днес влиза в сила забрана за организирането и провеждането на пазари за всички видове домашни животни и птици.
Забраната се отнася и за екзотични животни и птици, животински продукти, както и за изложби на домашни животни и птици и екзотични животни и птици на територията на цялата страна. Мярката е във връзка с усложнената епизоотична обстановка и има превантивен характер срещу възможното разпространение на болести по животните, като Инфлуенца по птиците, Африканска чума по свинете, шарка по овцете и козите и други. Освен това действията имат и за цел намаляване на значителните икономическите загуби, които би претърпял бизнесът.
Заповедта на БАБХ е издадена на базата на проведени по места заседания на епизоотични комисии и е в сила до изричната й отмяна. Контролът по места ще се извършва от директорите на Областните дирекции по безопасност на храните.
