Десет общини в Бургаска област имат избрани кметове на първи тур. В Бургас е категорична победата на Димитър Николов. Илиян Янчев пък печели с най-висок резултат Малко Търново – 98,58%. Досегашните кметове извоюваха още един мандат в Карнобат, Айтос, Камено, Созопол. ДПС печели в Сунгурларе и Руен, където новите кметове са Димитър Гавазов и Ахмед Сюлейман. Нови кметове от ГЕРБ ще имат Приморско и Царево – Иван Гайков и Марин Киров.В три общини другата неделя се очертават балотажи. 89,43% от обработените от Общинската избирателна комисия в Поморие показват, че на втори тур отиват досегашният кмет Иван Алексиев с 48,09% и Веселин Анестиев – 40,77%. В Несебър Николай Димитров ще се изправи срещу Иван Дашев, показват данните от 48,45% от протоколите от секциите. Досегашнят кмет на Средец Иван Жабов отива на балотаж срещ, Иван Кичев.
