От днес 60 чуждестранни студенти от 15 държави – Великобритания, Германия, Гърция, Египет, Индия, Ирландия, Италия, Кипър, Киргизстан, Норвегия, Пакистан, Сирия, Тунис, Финландия, Шри Ланка започват да следват медицина в Бургас!
Това е първата година, в която се разкрива чуждоезиково обучение в Медицинския ни факултет!
Благодаря на всички институции, народни представители, министри, които подкрепиха усилията ни това да се случи! За мен е много важна тази трудна, малка, но успешна първа крачка, защото тя тепърва ще отвори перспективи пред Бургас!”, каза Димитър Николов.
Посланикът на Индия н. пр. Санджай Рана лично поздрави студентите и ги поощри за избора им да учат в Бургас.
„Днес е първият ви ден в нашата Алма Матер, която тази година навърши 60 години. През всички тези десетилетия ние се стремим да предоставяме висококачествено образование. Нашите завършили студенти са реализирали своите знания по всички континенти, някои от тях са носители едни от най-значимите световни отличия за наука. Медицинският факултет е най-младия, но развитието му е скоростно, а авторитетът му расте в България и Европа“, каза на студентите ректорът на Университета проф. д-р Христо Бозов.
„За мен е чест да бъда част от първият випуск на англоезичното обучение по медицина в Бургаския държавен университет. Бургас е прекрасен, жив и много интересен град, който веднага харесваш.
