Въведената неотдавна такса за внос и транзит на руски газ през България няма да се отрази негативно на европейските потребители. Тя ще засегне единствено печалбите на „Газпром“. Това чуха посланиците на държавите от Европейския съюз (ЕС) от премиера акад. Николай Денков, вицепремиера и министър на външните работи Мария Габриел, министрите на финансите и на енергетиката Асен Василев и Румен Радев.
„ЕС не трябва да е зависим от руския газ. Не е допустимо с парите на европейските данъкоплатци да се финансира войната на Русия срещу Украйна“, заяви акад. Денков. Той припомни, че през последните години е свършена много работа, за да може Европа да получава газ от различни източници, съобщават от Министерски съвет.
Ден след визитата си във Виена министър-председателят отново изтъкна пред дипломатите от ЕС аргументите за приемането на България в Шенгенското пространство: „Ако не е необходимо да пазим границите между България и Гърция и България и Румъния, страната ни ще насочи много повече усилия и ресурс към границите ни с Турция и Сърбия“.
Премиерът изрази надежда, че през декември на редовното заседание на Европейския съвет ще бъде взето правилното решение в полза на българските и европейските граждани и бизнес.
Министър-председателят обърна внимание, че страната ни е постигнала голям напредък в областта на върховенството на правото и това се отчита от нашите партньори и от Европейската комисия.
