Организаторите от висшето училище са подготвили специална награда за идея за софтуер за енергийна ефективност Студенти и ученици могат да се включат в новото състезание на Бургаския държавен университет „Проф. д-р Асен Златаров“ – „Науката на бъдещето – въображение и софтуер“. То реално е продължение на инициативата „Европейска нощ на учените“, която предизвика изключителен интерес в края на септември т.г. Надпреварата започва на 24 октомври от 16.00 ч. в Центъра за Върхови постижения в областта на информационните и комуникационните технологии „Уните“ с подкрепата на проект „K-TRIO“ и „УНИТЕ“. Организаторите от висшето училище са подготвили специална награда за идея за софтуер за енергийна ефективност. Проектът „K-TRIO“ е координиран от Софийския университет и се финансира от Програма „Хоризонт Европа“. Негова основна цел е повишаване на обществената осведоменост относно значимостта на научните изследвания и дейността на учените. Проектът “Изследователи в триъгълника на знанието” (K-TRIO) се стреми основно да приближи учените и тяхната работа до широката общественост и по този начин да се увеличи осведомеността на хората за научните дейности и постижения, както и ефектът им върху ежедневния живот. Това от своя страна трябва да привлече и мотивира повече млади таланти към стремеж за научна кариера. По-конкретно в дългосрочен план се цели насърчаване на интереса на младите към т. нар. STEM & Art (или добавянето на изкуство към СТЕМ образованието) за подхранване на нова култура на творчество, научно любопитство, иновативен дух и отговорност към опазването на околната среда, както и повишаване на обществената готовност за ангажиране в гражданската наука, отворената наука и отворените иновации. С това биха се подобрили възможностите на изследователите да взаимодействат с деца и студенти и да се включват в дейности на гражданската наука заедно с тях. Ще се повиши репутацията и популярността на изследователските екипи и организации и техният принос за икономическото и регионално развитие.
