Катастрофа е станала на 4 ноември около 14.45 ч. на пътя Бургас – Варна.
В условията на десен завой лек автомобил “БМВ 390 L”, с румънска регистрация, управляван от 22-годишен мъж от Румъния, поради движение с несъобразена с конкретните пътни условия скорост навлиза в лентата за насрещно движение и допуска пътен инцидент с движещия се там товарен автомобил “Скания” с прикачено полуремарке, със софийска регистрация, управляван от 40-годишен мъж от село Черни връх (неправоспособен водач, с отнето свидетелство за правоуправление), съобщават от полицията. Двамата водачи са тествани за употреба на алкохол, като дрегерът отчел положителна проба на водача на товарен автомобил “Скания” – 1.02 промила. От катастрофата пострадал водачът на лекия автомобил, който с пробит гръден кош, с опасност за живота, е настанен за лечение в хирургично отделение на УМБАЛ – Бургас. Пострадали са още неговите спътници: 57-годишен турски гражданин (получил лицеви черепни травми, фрактури на лицеви кости и фрактура на дясното рамо, с опасност за живота, настанен за лечение в отделение “Реанимация” на УМБАЛ – Бургас и 52-годишна румънска гражданка – майка на водача на лекия автомобил, която с натъртвания по тялото, без опасност за живота, е настанена за лечение в болница “Света Анна” във Варна.
