Георги Димитров е новият-стар кмет на Карнобат. Той печели пети мандат на първи тур. Втори остана опонентът му от БСП Тодор Байчев. За Димитров са гласували около 5 000 души, а за Байчев 2 265. Все още не всички протоколи от секционните избирателни комисии са обработени.
„Продължавам работа. Имам приети планове и ще ги изпълявам. Те са одобрени и от Общинския съвет”, каза Димитров.
