„Когато за първи път обявиха програмата за саниране на блокове, срещнах огромно недоверие, че наистина има смисъл от нея. Не се отказахме и с колегите ми обиколихме доста блокове, за да убедим хората да участват. Благодаря на живущите в първите 210 санирани блока, които ни се довериха. Помогнахме им с попълването на документите и Бургас стана рекордьор в първия етап по Програмата за енергийна ефективност на многофамилни сгради. Сега интересът към програмата е голям. До момента сме съдействали за подаване на документи в Министерството на регионалното развитие на други 214 бургаски жилищни сгради. Чакаме класирането!“, добави Николов.
За подобряване на градската среда и комфорта на хората, той предвижда добилата популярност и успешна програма „Моят град, моят квартал, моята улица“ да се разрасне и да влезе в отдалечените квартали и съставните селища на територията на общината.
„От следващата година тя ще бъде достъпна за всички населени места на територията на общината. Защото практиката показва, че тя е успешна, хората я търсят, кандидатстват, активни са. Ние следваме това, което желаят жителите на съответния район, и го изграждаме. Нашите наблюдения показват, че след това вандалските прояви в тези места, които са облагородени по инициатива на гражданите, са намалели наполовина. Това е добре, защото отделяме хиляди левове, за да възстановяваме разрушена инфраструктура, счупена паркова мебел и т.н. Хората се отнасят с по-голяма грижа и внимание, за да бъде съхранено това, което е създадено по тяхно желание.“, смята Николов.
Ще бъде построен и Дом за стари хора в района на Минералните бани. „Капацитетът на сегашния е недостатъчен. Новият ще бъде сред зеленина, като избраният терен е в близост до парк, минерална вода и болница.“, каза Димитър Николов. Домът ще бъде построен по най-високи стандарти и ще разполага с единични и двойни стаи с всички необходими условия за самостоятелен живот. Ще има още стаи за рехабилитация и медицинско наблюдение, зала за групови и индивидуални занимания, зала за арт и трудотерапия, фитнес зала, зона за релакс с кът за четене, зона за хранене и отдих с трапезария.
Нов открит басейн ще бъде изграден за рехабилитационни процедури, подходящ за деца с двигателни проблеми. „Сега има един закрит, но практиката показва, че трябва да се направи още един открит, който да е с нови удобства, с ново оборудване. Децата се влияят добре, родителите са доволни. Убеден съм, че тази група деца имат нужда от още по-голяма грижа и внимание от нас.“, добави Николов.
Той посочи като основен акцент в следващия мандат комфортната жизнена среда! „В града, в кварталите, в съставните селища. Навсякъде.“, обобщи Димитър Николов.
