Натискът на българското правителство върху руските енергийни активи в България е накарал „Лукойл Нефтохим” да започне процес на продажба на най-голямата си рафинерия в Югоизточна Европа – тази в Бургас. Това казва финансовият министър Асен Василев пред „Файненшъл Таймс” в специален материал за страната ни и руските енергийни маневри.
Василев твърди пред изданието, че вероятно има икономическа полза от смяната на собствеността и заявява, че „имаме индикации за интерес”.
Правителството не участва в продажбата на рафинерията, която доставя на международни клиенти повече от половината от продукцията си – включително важни доставки на дизел за Украйна в началото на руската инвазия.
Василев твърди, че рестрикциите към руската компания няма да бъдат вдигнати, докато в собствеността ѝ не се включат нови играчи.
