В средата на ноември първият хеликоптер за България ще слезе от поточната линия и ще започнат тестовите полети, след което машината ще прелети до София. Това съобщи на фейсбук страницата си министърът на транспорта и съобщенията Георги Гвоздейков.
Гвоздейков посочва, че се е уверил на място в напредъка след посещение в Leonardo helicopters във Верджате, Италия, където сглобяването на хеликоптера е към края си. Министърът публикува и снимки на процеса на сглобяване на машината, съобщава БТА.

Хеликоптерът AW109 Trekker ще разполага с иновативната система автопилот за управление по четирите оси на движение (4-axis). Системата се внедрява за първи път в тези хеликоптери и позволява пилотирането в трудни условия да се извършва с висока степен на безопасност и прецизност при кацане, съобщава още Гвоздейков за техническите характеристики на машината.
